Since 28 June 2025, the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) applies. Many websites that lead to consumer contracts must be accessible – and visitors expect a site to adapt to them anyway. Accessdeck gives them a panel for exactly that: larger text in seven steps, more line and letter spacing, a readable font, light or high contrast, monochrome, reading guide and reading mask, hide images, stop animations, highlight links and skip links to content, navigation or custom areas such as the contact form.
It takes a single script tag – in WordPress, TYPO3, Shopify, Joomla or hand-written HTML. Websites running on Entrydeck already come with Accessdeck. You set colour, position, trigger and label in the admin and switch each module on or off.
Accessdeck sets no cookies, builds no profiles and calls no third-party services. The chosen settings stay in the visitor’s browser – so nothing has to go into the cookie banner or the consent.
To be honest: no widget makes a website accessible on its own. Missing alt texts, weak contrast in the design or unlabelled forms remain the website’s job. That is where we help as well – with a WCAG 2.2 audit and the matching fixes.

What does Accessdeck do?

Does it make my website BFSG-compliant?
Not on its own – and anyone who promises that promises too much. Accessdeck complements a well-built website with adjustments visitors choose themselves. Semantic HTML, contrast in the design, keyboard operation and alt texts remain the website’s job. On request we audit your website against WCAG 2.2 and implement the fixes.
How do I add Accessdeck?
With a single script tag before </body> carrying your site ID – it works in WordPress, TYPO3, Shopify, Joomla or static HTML. Websites running on Entrydeck include it automatically once it is enabled.
Does Accessdeck store data about visitors?
No. The chosen settings stay in the visitor’s browser; there are no cookies, no profiles and no third-party requests. The script comes from our server in Germany and needs no consent.
Which languages does the widget speak?
German and English in full; the script follows the page language. The trigger label can be adjusted per language.
What does Accessdeck cost?
The Free plan is free forever: one domain, all modules, with the “Powered by Accessdeck” note. Pro costs €9 and Agency €29 per month, both cancellable monthly. Accessdeck is included in every Entrydeck plan.
